Caroline Garrod
Caroline is currently working on her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from Queen's University in Kingston, ON. An avid reader and writer from a young age, she writes for The Queen's Journal, one of the oldest undergraduate newspapers in North America, and has published creative writing in literary journals and textbooks, as well as winning prizes at the Elora Writers' Festival.
Although history is an obvious interest, she has a voracious appetite for new information, and enjoys researching a wide variety of topics, including food/nutrition, feminism, current politics, style/fashion, environmental policy, art, music, fitness, and student life.
Specifically within history, her interests include the Reformation, the French Revolution, Women's history, Islamic history, the evolution of Early Modern Europe, and the history of international relations.
Her hobbies and interests include reading, writing both fiction, poetry, and non-fiction, running, yoga, cultivating personal style, healthy cooking, politics, and singing.
